Registration and Re-Inspection Fees

As of January 1, 2012, the registration fee is $75.

Ordinance 3847 says "Any rental unit that has a habitability score of less than 85 must be re-inspected until the rental unit achieves a habitability score of 85 or greater."  However, whether your inspection score reaches 85 or not, you're required to make corrections and be re-inspected.

If your inspection score doesn't reach 85, the re-inspection fee is $75.  If you still don't reach 85 after the $90 re-inspection, subsequent  re-inspection fees are $120.

i.e. If you have a duplex, it's $150 for registration +$180 for re-inspection, provided that corrections are adequate after the initial inspection.
